Devlog 12
As promised, I made a trailer and some gameplay improvements. As it figured out, recording play sessions is an essential tool in development. It really helped to notice and fix camera problems. The best thing about it is the availability of tuning tools that I have created beforehand. Initially I had an understanding how it should work, but was not able to see that in fact it does not. Therefore while recording footage for the video, I have also made the game look much smoother and this, I hope, should fix some of the problems.
As for the future, I am planning to have a little time off the development and review initial and new concepts as a whole. The game the way it is now is a solid base for future development and to make everything right it is essential to get back to the blackboard and revise some of the concepts and what is needed to make them work. However, I will also work on some bugs, if they are critical and maybe do some other tweaks. So, for now I am planning to have a time off and I hope that when I will return, I will have a better understanding of the future and what needs to be done to make the best game possible!
